Idle probs!

I know this has been discussed before, but if anyone had any idea what causes rpms to raise and lower at idle then please help. ON my 95 gsr it use to just do it when it was cold, now it does it any time at idle. It fluctuates from about 700 rpms to about 1200 rpms. No CELs or anything like that. Could a sensor be bad w/out throwing a code? If so what sensors are known for doing/causing this?

Yeah vacuum leaks would probably be your biggest culprit for a high/fluctuating idle.. I just today found my own damn vacuum leak which had caused a 1k-2k swinging idle.. I believe an allen screw fell out of the bypass valve/manifold assembly.. It came bolted together from the factory.. Now that sucks.

Well I hope I can find what it is. On top of my idle, now my check engine light comes on and it reads knock sensor. I don't understand what's going on. I'm suppose to go to the drag strip on Thursday and I can't go if my car is acting stupid.
